2013 BMW 5 Series Sedan Owners Manual - The 2013 BMW 5-Series is available with 4-cylinder 528i, 6-cylinder 535i or V8 550i designs, as well as with rear-wheel generate or all-wheel generate. 528I designs consist of a turbocharged four creating 240 horse power and 260 pound-feet of twisting, with that optimum twisting obtained at just 1,250 rpm. The turbocompresseur six in 535i designs creates 300 horse power and 300 lb-ft, while the twin-turbocharged V8 in the 550i produces 445 hp and 480 lb-ft.

For 2013, 550i designs get a new edition of the 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 motor, creating 445 horse power and 480 lb legs of torque--that's 45 hp and 30 lb-ft more than last season. BMW 5-Series GT designs now get motor stop-start, together with the 5-Series cars that obtained it last season, and the 5-Series automobiles get a new Eco Pro generating method.
